As a sign of good faith to the promise of peace, in 2004 The USA, EU, UK, USSA, USMA, UPNPO (united partisian nations of the pacific ocean) all banded together and dismantled every last traceable amount of destructive weapons, demanufacturing the buclear weapons and using the isdotopes for power sources, breaking down chemical compounds, and even went as far as to launch a space mission to rid the earth of uranium and plutonium isoltopes by launching a rocket with containment cells straight in to the suyns, with massive amounts of anthrax, ebola, small pox, mustard gas, and any other destructive chemical biological or nuclear agents in to the sun, our savior. and massive installation was constructed in antarctica for this mission to rid the world of dangerous weapons as antarctica for the first time in history has been announced as a nation of the free world, no official name had been announced except plans on dubbing the free nation, the "Free Nation of Haven" Seaports, Railways, Roads, power plants Cities and settlements, airports and underground metros began sprouting up around the space station, and sure enough as a result of the unfound prosperity mineral mines and oil reserves were discovered on the frozen sheet of landbringing in even more immigrants to the nation, with a population reaching almost 8 million in the matter of a two year time period.

Antactica soon became a safe haven for refugees of the PRA. Australia began funneling escaped prisoners of war, rebels, refugees, and deserters through it's shores and deserts, hiding them first in their arid lands and then shipping them to antarctica to escape the iron fist of the PRE. Ross station, the "Ellis Island" of Haven soon became the destination for battered peoples escaping the still burning fires of battles being fought inside the PRE borders. Refugees began coming in by the thousands in rubber rafts, wood skooners, motor boats, shanty airplanes and even one man even arrived wearing a boat motor attached to five airtanks and a snorkel wearing a scuba suit, all marked in bullet pocked PRA supplies and food provisions. The United States of Anarctica was soon imbibed by the United nations as an official Nation of earth, erasing the PRE seats from the floor and creating a new row of seats in the floor of the UN.
